Linda F. Powers

Linda F. Powers is a co-founder and Managing Director of Toucan Capital, and CEO of Northwest Biotherapeutics based in Bethesda, MD. Ms. Powers has become a recognized leader in the stem cell industry nationwide in the U.S, as well as in Europe, India and Israel. She served as the Chair of Maryland’s Stem Cell Commission for the first two years after it was established, and has continued to serve as a Commissioner since then. Ms. Powers holds a B.A. from Princeton University (Woodrow Wilson School/Economics), magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School. Learn more about Linda here.
